Hey All! For my second blog post I thought I’d give some feedback and details about the camera quality on both the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini. Did you know they have a sport dual-camera setup on the back? Both iPhones have a 12MP aperture allowing a 27% improvement in low-light photography. I have made so many memories and captured precious moments with the camera.
The iPhone 12 and 12 Mini offer optical image stabilization. What is optical image stabilization? It’s hard to capture the perfect image when you are in motion. The optical image stabilization makes that quick snapshot into a perfect image while on the go. It offers a 2x optical zoom, digital zoom up to 5x night mode, deep fusion, portrait mode and depth control. Depth control means it has a machine learning lens to help understand the scene, so it automatically adjusts highlights and shadows.
Both iPhones are capable of recording 4K videos at up to 60fps, and 1080p slow-motion video. The video has a new night mode time-lapse feature that allows users to create time-lapse videos in night mode. My favorite mode is the live portrait. It gives you a few seconds of lead up time to capture that perfect picture.
Have ever noticed flares when trying to snap the perfect sunrise or sunset? What are flares? They are those little green dots in an image that you see while trying to snap a shot of the sunset/sunrise; this is due to the aggressive light and color contrast. That doesn’t mean you won’t get the perfect shot or destroy the detailed image. You can edit it out or just be cautious enough to look for it.
Now of the most talked about features of the iPhone 12 is night mode. Apple has introduced night mode on all camera lenses. You can also take better pictures with the ultra-wide front facing camera. Who doesn’t love a good night shot? From my own experience with the iPhone 12, it sure delivered.
I would highly recommend trying an iPhone! I promise it won’t disappoint. Coming from a Samsung customer, I stand by the iPhone 12. I’ve had a great experience with it and I’ve been able to capture beautiful memories and perfect pictures.
